Please help me on Kingdom Hearts 1?

So I'm at the Hollow Bastion for the second time now and I'm where the keyhole was before, and there is princesses around telling me to close the keyhole but I can't get into the room where it was before because the portal in the wall in no longer there. Please tell me how to get to it!
