Culturally speaking why do white pirates say "yarrr" and black pirates say "yo ho ho"?

maybe the white pirate stubbed his toe and the black pirate is lookin' for his yo yo only his accent makes it sound like yo ho. "yo ho? have hou seen my yo ho?"
