Bazooka is WWII era nickname for a man-portable recoil-less rocket antitank weapon. The RPG is also a rocket powered anti-tank weapon. Both fire projectiles that are similar looking. The main difference between the bazooka and RPG is how they deliver their payload. The payload, or rocket ammunition of the bazooka is fired fromthe rear end of the inner chamber. The RPG, on the other hand, has its payload at the front end, outside of the inner chamber.
